Murals for the renovation at Saint Cecilia Catholic Church in Leominster, MA
Fundraising drawings and proposed design for murals
.
In early 2023 we developed a detailed plan of proposed murals for the renovation of St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Leominster, MA, one of the most beautiful churches in the Boston area. In collaboration with the pastor and based on his description, we illustrated the vision for the decoration of the nave, ceiling and Sanctuary.
The parish idea was to commemorate the life is Saint Cecilia with a series of faithful reproductions of existing representations of her life in the clerestory area, following the gothic tradition and to compliment the murals we designed a shadow band with lettering depicting a prayer dedicated to St. Cecilia; for the wall areas of the gothic arches, we proposed a series of murals with angels holding symbols, all in harmony of the proposed blue ceiling and red columns.
Back then, they were in the process of getting diocesan approval and starting fundraising for the complete renovation and restoration.
The drawings shown in the video below are the ‘before’ and ‘after’ illustrations produced as part of our proposal to provide the murals.

RELIQUARIES AT THE CHAPEL OF DIVINE MERCY
The reliquaries at The Divine Mercy Chapel at St. Cecilia are dedicated to Pope St. John Paul II and St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, under the pastor’s direction, we produced four small scale paintings in canvas with the selected portraits and detailed symbols. For the installation on the existing niches we provided templates as guidelines for installation to ensure they fit properly. A small but beautiful project, we are thankful for the opportunity.
